Created by Bashir Salahuddin and Diallo Riddle, Sherman’s Showcase is an American comedy TV show. The first season of the show aired on July 31, 2019, on IFC. Later, in 2020 the second season of the show was confirmed to be aired on IFC and AMC in 2022.
The show is inspired by a variety of shows like American Bandstand, The Midnight Special, In Living Color, and Soul Train. Each episode is hosted by Sherman McDaniel.
Sherman’s Showcase Season 3 Release Date
Season 1 of the show first premiered in July 2019. The second season of the show aired yesterday on IFC.
Presently, we do not have any news regarding the third season of the show considering season 2 has just premiered. News sources say that season 2 of the show would have premiered earlier if the pandemic did not hit the world. Although it was said that season 2 would air in 2022, we all know that it is too late into the year. This delay would not have occurred if we were not disrupted by the pandemic.
But before Season 3, we are yet to enjoy Season 2 of the show completely whose episodes are going to get released one by one on their given dates. Episode 2 of the second season will be released on 2nd November 2022.

Sherman’s Showcase Season 3 Story
Since we do not know whether we will have Season 3, we do not have any information regarding the story of the third installment of the show. Like Season 1, Season 2 of the show also sees Riddle and Salahuddin sticking to their goal of making the show feel timeless by avoiding real-life issues.
Even though we might not know about Season 3 for now, we know what happened in Episode 1 of Season 2. Episode 1 of the show saw Sherman hosting a fashion show. But can it be a normal, smooth fashion show? Of course not! Comedy lay in the chaos that was occurring backstage.
